[Call for Submissions🎬] The 2nd HKUST AI Film Festival — New Boundaries, New Life

In an era of explosive advancements in AI image technology, we refuse to remain on the surface of mere visual spectacle.
The Division of Arts and Machine Creativity (AMC) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) cordially invites AI creators worldwide to join us in initiating an exploration of the "New Wave of AI Cinema".

We look forward to works that
📸 don't stop at AI, but rather reshape expressions through technology.

We believe the true avant-garde lies in:
🫂 Integrating humanistic care with algorithmic depth
🌊 Bringing about a new wave that succeeds—and at the same time transcends—realism
🔥 Daring to touch upon life's most complex realities
🎨 Seeing to all technological innovations returning ultimately to the essence of art

🏆 Submissions are now open for two competition categories:

1. AI Film Main Competition
Open to broad creative visions, exploring the infinite possibilities of AI in cinematic storytelling.

2. HKUST Student Work
A dedicated track for HKUST students, igniting the sparks of art and technology in our HKUST campus.

This is the premier stage for you to transform narratives through AI and respond, with the brush of technology, to the profundity of human experience.

在 AI 影像技術爆發的時代，我們拒絕僅停留在視覺奇觀。
香港科技大學藝術與機器創造力學部（AMC）誠邀全球創作者，共同開啟一場關於「AI 電影新浪潮」的探索。
