The Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP)
HKUST is one of the few Asian universities chosen by the Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI) as a partner university to offer the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP). Applicants who are non-local students from East, Southeast, and South Asia and admitted to MA / MPhil Program may be considered for the scholarship program.

The Hong Kong Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies (FTSS)
As announced in the 2024 Policy Address, the Hong Kong Government has set up the Hong Kong Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies (FTSS) to attract meritorious local students in pursuing further studies in areas of strategic priority for the development of Hong Kong.
As one of the approved Taught Master's programs, local applicants of the Master of Arts (MA) in Arts and Machine Creativity program for 2025/26 and 2026/27 Fall Intake may apply for the Scholarship Scheme, for a maximum tuition waiver of HK$100,000.
