About the Project – Articulator.ai & artIDregistry
The project, titled Articulator.ai – One-stop Platform for GenAI Creation, Art ID Registration, Authentication and Monetization for Emerging Artists, is developed by Art Growth Limited, A TSSSU-supported HKUST Startup led by Dr. Daniel CHUN with wide participation from the Division of Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas (EMIA) and Division of Arts and Machine Creativity, with multiple patented works granted across the U.S., China and other regions.
The project introduces a one-stop solution for emerging artists to promote, sell and at the same time protect their artwork in the GenAI era by incorporating a two-layer process:
- Articulator.ai – a one-stop platform for the art community and agencies to register their artwork online, create GenAI derivative copies, enter art auctions, and monetize their work all in one place without any technical hassle.
- artIDregistry – a blockchain-based data provenance structure serving as a means of digital authorization and accreditation for emerging artists, verification by art institutions and universities, and protection against unauthorized AI data scraping.
The Division extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Daniel Chun on this remarkable achievement. We look forward to sharing further breakthroughs of his award-winning project and celebrating the continued successes of our faculty members in global innovation forums.
