To foster collaboration between industry and academia as well as providing students with a variety of internship opportunities, the Division of Arts and Machine Creativity (AMC) has organized 3 Internship Information Sessions on December 12 & December 16, 2025, with industry representatives and art professionals sharing their company cultures, values, roles and in-depth information regarding internship posts.
The first information session in the afternoon of December 12, courtesy of AMC faculty member Dr. Daniel CHUN, featured representatives from photo-editing application giant Meitu. The session opened with an inspiring address by Ms. Christina WANG, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, who shared Meitu’s vision and commitment to talent development. Following her remarks, Talent Acquisition Expert Ms. Lin LIN provided an overview of the company’s culture and growth. On the technical front, Mr. Jun XU introduced the Design Centre, while Mr. Ben XIA offered an in-depth look at the roles and workflows within the Design Team. Human Resources Business Partner Ms. Grace WU concluded by outlining the internship opportunities available in the Design Team. After the presentations, students and faculty members engaged in a lively networking session with the Meitu representatives, with meaningful connections and career insights.
The second and third information sessions, courtesy of AMC faculty member Dr. Harry YANG, took place on December 12 evening and December 16 afternoon respectively. Mr. Xiangchen KONG, TV Program Chief Director at Zhejiang Satellite TV with numerous award-winning works directed, delivered a talk on the frontier of AI-driven production in variety shows, revealing how AI is already reshaping the TV industry—from refining production pipelines to creating virtual avatars as program hosts, game players and more. Mr. Yu CHEN, a Forbes-recognized designer and entrepreneur, shared his pioneer work as the founder of Artisk.ai in the creation of intelligent, self-adapting brand systems that evolves real-time in response to new markets, trends, and user behaviors.
The Internship Information Sessions provided students with invaluable exposure to cutting-edge practices in technology, media, and design, while opening doors to exciting internship opportunities.
