🎭 Title
The Art of art+tech – then, now and to come
📑 Abstract
Prof. Jeffrey SHAW will present a survey of new media art seen through the lens of his singular pioneering practice. In over 50 years of ground-breaking research, first principles are discovered and elaborated in conjunction with emergent technologies so that an aesthetic and conceptual grammar evolves, which despite an increasingly noisy technological landscape, seeks to position art at the heart of what really matters as we shape the future.
