On December 9, 2025, AMC faculty member Dr. Vennes CHENG was invited by IBM Consulting to participate in the IBM Art of Intelligence Forum, a platform that brought together industry leaders and the next generation of AI innovators to explore how intelligence and talent evolve in the age of AI through visionary showcases, inspiring exchanges, and collaborative dialogue.
As one of the invited panel guests for the session Creativity, Storytelling, and Human Imagination, Dr. Cheng shared insights on the imperative role of human ingenuity in an AI‑driven era, showcasing selected works by both established artists and AMC students. She highlighted that, rather than replacing human imagination, AI has the potential to augment artistic practice, and that collaboration between humanity and AI can transcend boundaries of creativity and imagination, engaging an audience of next-generation talents, industry leaders, and leading academics.
Dr. Cheng's participation in the Art of Intelligence Forum reflects the Division's ongoing commitment to bridging art and technology through education, and to nurturing future creative leaders capable of approaching emerging technologies with refined artistic intent and meaning.
